Default td05 actuator

hi how comman is one to go and can anyone recommend the best place to get a new one?
I'm having boost issues where it drops as soon as it goes above 0.5 bar?
I'm thinking the wastegate is staying open ??????

I did think about that but do they not lead to boost spikes if not set up properly?

I had my boost tested that showed I had either a slight boost solenoid or actuator fault. You may want to have your boost tested first by someone with the right kit. The actuator can be adjusted. Taking off the turbo heat shield to do it though can be a problem due to seized bolts. I'm in Chippenham and Chris Palmer in Bristol tested mine.

thanks buddy I have had the heat shield off and can move the actuator by little effort. I've also thoroughly cleaned the boost solenoid with carb cleaner and all associated pipes too and from. I have a new actuator on the way so will see how stiff that feels and then get the boost tested
