I am taking the headers off the car in the next couple of days and wondered whether they are worth upgrading on a blob wrx? I have already fitted the SC up pipe but wondered if theres anything I can do with the headers?

Depends on the turbo, the uppipe and what power you are making at the mo.

Unless you are going for more than 400 bhp, best to stick to standard or ported headers.
Tubular may be better above that.

If you get it wrong, you will lose spool and may drop in power

 

Ported OEM for up to 400. The oem headers when ported will take you beyond 400 but power will be made easier with a good tubular header.
Over that GT Spec Gen 2 tubulars will take you to 700 and beyond.
