Impreza STi Version 5 What else to do
bought a Classic STi JDM Version 5 absolutely love the car had some small issues with it at first which turned out to be the boost solenoid blocked ive also replaced the maf and put the standard airbox back on instead of the chav cone it had
my question is since fitting the standard airbox the car seems to of got more torque when off boost do i need to get it remapped or is it ok?
its not detonating and was setup in 2011 by Scooby Clinic following its engine rebuild by interpro

Depends.
It would be a good idea to ask the original mapper. If it was mapped for the cone, it may need a tweak. Cones, despite their reputation in the tuning community, can cause problems and some even flow LESS than a decent panel filter, and cause vortexes.
