Default How do I no which arb's

Been to the whiteline site and the arb's variey in size, do I have a option or is it what's right for my Impreza ...
I currently have a 99 type r and and intrested in rear & front arb's or sway bars as they call them

I think the most popular sizes are 22 or 24 mm do I have a choice or dose it need to be specific to my model .?

Also drop links are they a standard fitment classic wise

Many thanks

just a quick look but i would say you need these

http://www.whiteline.com.au/product_..._number=BSF20Z

http://www.whiteline.com.au/product_...umber=BSR20XXZ

i would go adjustable gives you flexibility that way

and these for drop links if your car has a anti roll bar it will have drop links

http://www.whiteline.com.au/product_...t_number=KLC31

Hope this helps Dan

When they say adjustable it means if you have a 24mm rear bar with 3 holes, I you locate it in the 1st hole making the bar further away making it weaker equals to a 23mm bar, the centre hole is the 24mm and the 3rd is making it a 25mm bar, that's how it's been explained by whiteline on a v video I watch

That I have no idea, but I have read it on a fair few threads, in auto mode it can confuse it or similar! I don't see how but just going by what I've read will have to wait till I fit mine and will find out

Thanks gambit ... I almost bought a solid set for the fronts ur right they def need to be the adjustable ones for the ally arms Well thats what the site says also.

This is a real noob question but I thought the whiteline arb replaced the stock 1 or is it used in conjuctution with the oe one ...

I'm still pretty lost here I thought the 22 24 mm etc related to the thickness of the bar I'm guessing thats wrong

Just been reading the front needs to be smaller than the rear so 22mm front and 24mm rear I guess is the popular choice

Normally we fit 20mm front and 24 mm rear with the adjustable blade type for fine tuning to customer needs. Hard drop links of course. Set the bars on the soft setting - the nearest hole to the end of the blade - and then move the front one notch harder, see how it is, then move the rear I notch and see again etc. They are rarely 'right' on the road on a hard setting all around, but that does depend upon springs fitted etc.

Always drive on a new setting for a few days, never just around the block, you need to let it and yourself settle and once you have "forgotten about it", you'll know whether it feels better or not if you follow me.

Anyone who tells you that the roll bars have an effect on the dccd is WRONG. There is no reason on earth why they would have any effect at all.
