WRX dipstick - are they the same?

WRX dipstick - are they the same?
Had my (3rd) UK Impreza a few months and when buying I noticed the oil was over the max level and thinking it would use it over time I left it.
Anyway, its still above the max (a fair bit!) and before I empty a bit (prob do an oil change) it might be worthwhile checking the dipstick is right, no reason it shouldnt be, FSH etc etc
Are they all the same, I suspect the 2.5s aren't?
