Default Is the speedo drive swappable.

As title says... Is it swappable On a 95 import and a 99 uk gearbox.??

Any help please.. Cheers.

Right Bigdan, so let me get this straight, haha

I have a 95 import, some1 has a 99 uk gearbox and diff for me..

All will go sweet yeah.. (I've been at this all day)

Due to one having a cable and the other having electronic connector *???

That's why you swap the speedo drive, on the gearbox.

Not totally, later box is an 8 bolt casing.

Not sure what was done on mine, block was tapped I think to take a bolt for one of the starter motor bolts.

i take it that was an electronic pickup and you had to take away some of the alloy to get the cable nut on ?

Hi Rig, ground mine as (cable) to get out easier then put straight in electronic box..

i get you, i think, you removed the speedo drive gear 9the pic of the ground away alloy) and put that into the box that had the electronic speedo to mate up with your cable speedo drive still

i thought you were changin from cable speedo to electronic speedo LOL !

Nope no change, ya got it right Rig. We were panicking that it wouldn't be a straight swap.
