Default Cat too hot warning light

So I started getting this warning light (https://i.imgur.com/aDD7A.jpg) on my dash about a week ago. It started coming on when I move the key to position 2 during the warning light test, then goes off when I start the engine.

I got the passage about the light translated from Japanese.

when the emission alert lighted.

・slow down the car until alert become off.
・or stop at the side of the load.
・you can drive if the light become off
・if the alert doesn't become off although you have stopped, then go maintenance shop.

The thing is it doesn't come on when driving it comes on when I'm starting the car, and I don't even have a cat conveter.

I mean it could just be that it's coming on to test the lights, the oil pressure and CEL come on at the same time. But if it was just to check the lights why has it only started just coming on?

If it goes off when the car is started and stays off when driven, then there is no problem.
As to why it has suddenly started to 'work' - dont know - have you had any work done on the car recently ?
