Default v3 sti EJ20 piston markings

Gents,

I have just had a bore scope into my engine. the markings on the top are

SUB287622i7 - the tops have a square dish in them. can anyone identify them from this info?

thanks

Pretty sure that is a Mahle part number, so aftermarket forged pistons.
OEM pistons will have A or B, depending on piston size or .25/.50 for oversize.

No probs lewis - might be worth a search online for a Mahle catalogue to confirm.
