Hi Guys, my mate had won this scooby off ebay :

What advice would you give him when going to look at it? and what questions to ask the dealer?.
I have gave him some pointers but your guys imput would be appreciated

Going to look at it? Surely he's going to pay for it since he 'won' the auction.
I'd check the clutch doesn't slip though - Think I replaced mine around then. And you'd need to see when a cambelt is due - but really should have been done before 'winning'

I friggin' hate people who buy cars on ebay with the intention of going to view or haggle... such timewasters!!! you guys dont realise the grief and hassle it causes. Bid on it to buy it, not to view it!

Hence why you are supposed to go view the car before buying on eBay.
Same as you go view a car advertised on pistonheads, you dont pay over the phone then turn up and try haggle some money back ?
