Scoobysmeet

My car has not been running properly on intermittent occasions. I have fault code 23 idle air control solenoid on the cel. On my 95 jdm wrx the solenoid has a green sticker, but I have spare in my garage, possibly of a 97 engine. This one has a yellow sticker on it though. Does anyone know if I can swap them, or will this end up giving me just as many problems?
