Default Curious....

....to know apart from Shell V-Power (recommended), how many owners have mapped their car for use with either Sainsburys Super unleaded or Tesco Momentum (Shell V-Powers next equivalent).

Apart from generating less power using super unleaded it would still be interesting to see how many owners are running this type of fuel over the superior v-power.

Noticed some cars using this type of fuel for one reason or another.

I ran both my MR2 turbo's on Tesco over 8 years, including track days and hundreds of track days, ran my Impreza on Tesco (closest petrol station) fuel and had no problem so far.

i think they map it to the octane rather than the make. so a car mapped to 99 octane would be fine on v-power or momentum.... from what im aware

I've had one of mine mapped on vpower for about 6 years now, and honestly, it's a bit of a pain when you're out in the middle of nowhere on a track day, and the nearest petrol stations all supply 97 octane. Also, I had when out in more rural areas (e.g. Wales and Devon), where vpower wasn't available.

For ease of use, my next map on my day to day car will be on 97 octane, as it gives a much better petrol station selection. I doubt I'll miss the extra 10hp or so.

Hi Chet

We are tried like T99 or V-power 99...

On T99 we have better mileage,on V-power car feels more happy(or seems to be),checked both runs via Syvecs datalogging and there are small differences...

With meth think V-power is hard to beat.Car feels great and on the T99 don't know doesn't feels in this way

Many mappers still preferring V-power against T99,many people using T99 with the octane booster

We're still preferring the V-power if we could.
