No Moley it doesn't mate, some newage systems are slightly longer than classic but only minimal plus one hanger off a newage becomes null and void when fitted onto a classic[not really needed anyway]

Cheers mate. A friend is trying to fit a Nur Spec from a Classic onto his Newage, but can't get it to join the downpipe

In what way does it not fit mate?
I am assuming it is a 3" Nur-spec and he has a true 3" down pipe?

You cannot replace a new age d/p with a classic , you need the mid section as well

The downpipes are different between UK and JDM models, that could be the issue. The blitz has a 3" OD flange that will join the standard downpipe

Classic and newage are different lengths , Ive fitted a classic to my bug and the classic front and mid make up the same total length as the newage , but not the down pipe on its own

If you try to fit a classic mid and rear to a newage using the newage down pipe , the down pipe won't be long enough
