2001 wrx Revs go up ??????

Can anyone tell me why the revs go up and down when i move the steering wheel when i'm stationary? The engine hasnt long been fitted so any help would be appreciated.

Yes it does, the PS is belt driven so the revs increase slightly as the engine is loaded by the PS

Makes sense but didnt do it on my old engine. As long as its nothing to worry about or pipes on wrong! Thanks for the advice.

Does it go up by much, mine rises about 200rpm when I turn the wheel
