I have an O3 Wrx, and I seem to be low on oil a lot! I am having to put in a quart every month or two. I never smell anything or see any smoke out of the tail pipe. Any suggestions would be a huge help!

if it's any help i too have a 03 wrx ppp done roughly 56k i found i was going through a 1/4 ltr to 1500 miles again no leaks or smoke etc i spoke to my local subaru dlr who told me this isn't unkown it depends on what oil you use i was using fuchs titan 5w30 (it ain't cheap oil eather) i know use castrol maganetic 5w30 seems to have settled down

 

my blob doesnt use at drop and is on 91000.....but ive had new cars that have used 500ml a month

 

Same here my blob done 80k. Brought 1lt of oil 6months ago and still haven't used any

 

I think it depends if they got there very first oil change done , at the 1000 mile service , i was told that its crucial to the engine , mine never uses a drop and it had its all the correct services !

 

Mines uses oil but is on forged pistons and i was told they tend to use more oil as there under sized.

I top my car up every 500 miles with 10/60 millers
