Default Idle control valve

Hi could someone shed any light on the difference between lable colours on the idle valves

Mine is a yellow lable and on hunting can only find green

not to sure about the 96 i know the facelifts are a completly different location and shape but as far as i am aware the 2 lables are the same if you go on IMPORT CAR PARTS they have extensive parts for all scoobys and should be able to find a part no at least on there lol, if it was facelift i would know more as iv had 3 and know them quite well lol not really worked on prefacelift at all sorry bud

to me almost as if 1996 was a year there was a change over looks like you will have to get a yellow label as you already have, you could always try cleaning it out? bit of brake cleaner and give it a good scrub minding the seals occasionally they do go so bear in mind you may need a new seal

however if your struggling to find a second hand one the yellow lable ones where also fitted to the legacy twin turbo between 93 and 98 on the EJ20H and EJ20R engines hope that helps bud but usually a good clean out should fix any idle problems
