Default Quick rack Sti v6

Evening all.. Took my car to work today and I noticed something wasn't right.. I had a look later in the day and with the stationary and engine off (key in ignition) their is some play and clanking coming from the steering rack.. I was wondering if anyone knew of a steering rack repairer or specialist at all? I'm from surrey but location isn't an issue really. Thanks in advance.

If its a quick rack then your stuffed for a replacement, like rocking horse poo, but they were only standard on the STI RA and Type R (version 6), otherwise you have a fast rack which is a more easily replaceable item.
I think you can rebuild them but it may cost you a fair bit, try RCM to see if they rebuild steering racks.

Cheers for your reply Tony, unfortunately I know they are rare as horse manure I'll give rcm a call in the morning. Thanks again.
