Default TDI tuning

Feel free to abuse me but I would appreciate any sensible advice. I have a 60 plate Lancer 2.0 DI-D company car. Been reading I can have a chip/remap for £200ish to take it from 138/230 to approx 180/300. Knowing scoobs can cost for decent power increase this looks too easy? Any 'petrolhead' help? Ideally need to keep the warranty and not get busted by work for messing with it

We have been doing this sort of mod for some time. We've never had a problem of any sort with turbo diesel tuning in 20 years, averaging 2 or 3 a week, and even more recently. The gains are amazing!
The manufacturers won't like it, although the work is actually undetectable unless undergoing serious diagnostics. Check with the company you deal with that they offer a proper service, as there are cheap cowboys with dodgy files out there. Yes, you get what you pay for!
If under warranty, we advise a visit to us before going back to the dealers, as they can always be reflashed back to stock.

I out a TDI tuning box on a previous Audi of mine and it was cr@p

I ended up getting a refund and got a DTUK box, which was a great mod.

Not sure if DTUK do a box for your car though so you'd have to look into it

We charge £299 inc vat for just about all of them, including a dyno test as well for the majority.
