Hello Peeps, just thought i would introduce myself, im Stefan new to the subaru world, recently brought a 1996 impreza wagon with factory prodrive goodies as a project car due to it being stood for 4yrs without being run, now i'm unsure of the engine state the chap i brought it from "claims" it ran and it most likely did but after starting to strip it down as i suspected cooling system is corroded to hell, now question is do i removed the engine and clean all the water ways, change head gaskets check bores and pistons etc or just get another engine instead which is sound
