Default whats this pipe and how to remove?

right im looking to get a 45 degree pipe from maf to intake 90-76 afaik? anyway was out looking and realised this pipe in the pipe thats there just now.....

what is it and whats my options for removing it? or is it a case just slit new pipe and slide it in?

Think you could get rid of it from the intake by plumbing in a oil catch can,

Not unless you want to do away with all the purge/Evaporative emission control system.......






As long as you plumb it in to the inlet somewhere AFTER the MAF you should be OK.

Probably better off drilling the pipe not slitting it
