Default front drop links

hi all,i know i havent visited this sight for a while, but i am having problems with my scoobs.its a 1999 uk turbo on a V-plate.i recently changed the bottom arms from steel to the alloy ones,i then bought the drop links as i was advised by an ebay member.the problem is they are longer than the standard plastic ones so they seem to force the anti-roll bar up,also the threaded part isnt long enough for the nyloc nut to grip where it bolts onto the bottom arm,so they always work loose.has anybody else had the same problem?
