Default Engline take a while to start 97 turbo

The started motor sounds fine, plenty of power, but the engine takes ages to catch.

When it does catch, it revs pretty slow, and gradually builds up momentum.

It's not mis-firing, just seems "lazy" to get started.

Once started it runs fine.

I'm smelling fuel, so I don't think it's a fueling problem.

I'm hoping it's just plugs, but I've ran into a problem with that wee job as the last plug seems to have the rubber boot from a plug key on it. (I've posted that on another thread.

Thanks for any help offered.

Dave.

Thanks Mark, but the battery is turning the engine over fine.
