fuel gauge fault

need some info ive got qa 2004 sti and when fuel tank is full it only shows half a tank on my gauge any ideas,i have checked the flota in the tank but no joy

Theres two floats. The one on the o/s does the first half tank. The one on the n/s does half to full. Have you checked both floats?
