I'm sure my dealer said they keep all the codes in the safe.
I guess you'll have to go in with identification etc, otherwise anyone could phone up..!

Im sure the dealers will require the log book and some id before they look up your code.

Did they go through any sort of security check questions?

Still shouldn't be given out over the phone though! Think i'll be changing mine now...

There's a guy on SIDC Site that has the codes for all cars, he was employees to do just that. Search him out and ring him, it's Sigma Sam I think?!?!?

I repeat myself again. Sigma Sam available via SIDC's sight is the man, each car (registration number) has a master pin, and that pin is located with Sam.

I once had his number have since lost it ;(

Curious to know what the hell you guys are talking about

There is the OEM Immobiliser which used a transponder chip in the keys to talk to the ECU. There is no code as such and should you change ECU, EcuTeck software (or other) can "pair" your keys to the new ECU.

Then there is the UK fitted Sigma alarm system which has a 4 Digit PIN code. Subaru UK hold a list of master/original codes for this but if you have working key fobs you can re-code it YOURSELF see below
Sigma Sam no longer works for Sigma/Toad Alarms but his old thread is still available to go through on the SIDC website...........

http://forums.sidc.co.uk/topic/96215...larm-problems/

Changing your PIN:

- Arm and then Disarm the system using a working Radio Key.

- Within 30 seconds of disarming, type into the keypad: *17856*92*wxyz*wxyz# (where wxyz is your new PIN code)

- Arm the system with the Radio Key

- You should now be able to disarm the system using the new PIN code

Imobiliser codes are 5 digit teaching codes, Only available upon request from Subaru Uk via an Authorised dealer, these can only be used with the Subaru Select Monitor or as Don Rightly states ECUTEK software that only a mapper has access to.
Even if you did get the 5 digit teaching code it would be no use unless you have the above tools to input it with.

Sigma is 4 digit pin and can be requested from any dealer assuming it's not been changed by the previous owner.
