Default Refitting oem recirculating valve

Hello Guys,

Just bought my first impreza, a 98 UK turbo 2000, really liking it but want to get rid of the aftermarket dump valve. Have found plenty of standard ones on ebay but none of them look like they will fit to my car? They all look to have a 2 bolt flange that bolts to the front right of the intercooler, mind just has a metal elbow that comes out there with the aftermarket dumpvalve connected with a piece of hose. Is there another type that I need or is it the intercooler thats different?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Subaru-imp...item27b64dfe32

Also I think the recirculating pipe maybe missing, where does it connect back into the inlet tract?

Cheers for your help

The one in your link is for later models which bolts onto the intercooler. You'll need one that looks like this;

The recirc. pipe should lead under the intercooler, irrc.
