Default 1998 impreza wont start help baby on way in next week need car fixed

Hi guys I am picking my brain about why my impreza won't start,it's happened two times in last month or so.the car will turn over but will not fire up.once I have tried to start the car if I take the battery lead off over night it will fire up with out a problem, the car has recently been hunting rev wise and feels a bit flat when driving ,I have connectd the engine light and read the code which came up as 11 cranksensor.I have cleaned the crank sensor but to no help.I am going to be a dad in next few week I need the car to get to the hospital .any help would be very much appreciated thank you for your time

Non starting issues usually point to the crank sensor if it's a classic.
