I'm just coming up to my first MOT on my classic 95 import. I have a full Decat, an MOT fail, how do you guys get away with it or don't? Live in Harrogate and my test is due in September. Any ideas pls?

Rag the **** out of your car just before so it's red hot and get them to test emissions straight away. Or sway cats over for just mot

Will ragging the ***** out of it first really work?? Was hoping to not had to buy a cat / another exhaust!

Yehhh if the car is really hot and exhaust when you take it in should pass if they test it straight away.
And just be cat you would need to change not full system

You can get a full decat exhaust as hot as you like but it won't pass the MOT. You don't need to change the entire system but you will need to refit a cat.

Vosa has changed, if the car come with a cat it needs one to pass the mot, mine passed every year decat on emissions but since April it won't, I brought a another exhaust with a cat, either that or you find a place that will pass it. As the mot'er could loose his job garages that are about wont advertise it,

Looked for my local club but i guess its NYSOC and there doesnt seem to be a good thing said on here about these guys!!
