What size brake pipe and unions do brake systems use?

Are normal brake pipes 3/16 with like fittings and for braided hose -3 an and fittings?, i'm building a new brake pipe setup.

Subaru uses m10x1mm pitch on their master cilinders/calipers and hardline T pieces.
