hi i want to get some more power out of my classic sport its got an exhaust and air fliter just wandering what i can do to it ?

Um ur pretty limited really as the 2.0 Na isnt the best to squeeze power from, a good upgrade is a set of borla headers and a cobra decat I noticed a difference in power when I did those mods, failing that you can supercharge them, or what I did and drop a 2.5 quad cam engine in from a legacy! I would recommend changing the gearbox too to a low ratio 4.44 set up as what you loose in bhp u can gain back in gear ratio/acceleration and run as smaller wheel and profile as possible

I'm pretty sure adding borla headers reduces power as they are unequal length.. Sounds nicer though.
But yeah there really is'nt any way of getting more power out of them, you just have to be happy with what it is until you can afford a turbo.

quite possibly could have been the cobra de cat but there was a definate noticable bottom end power increase once we fitter the headers and the de cat pipe?

Borla manifolds are pretty good - a standard twin cam 2.5, Borla manifold, decatted exhaust, all mapped on a KMS ECU, and we made 190bhp at the fly. Not bad when Subaru quote 134 for that engine!
