no you would need the v3/4 inlet and wiring loom!

Just done it on my mates bit of a pain in the ***, as some of the sensors are different.

Any heads will bolt to any bottom end.

But not sure on the coilpacks/loom side of things.

O right, think I will stay with the v1 heads then, that the main difference between v1 and v3/4,are the cams interchangeable???

They have different followers I think (and are no doubt machined differently etc?). But don't know whether it's an actual impossibility to swap the cams, though

It WOULD be easier to swap the whole heads TBH (but of course the electronics become a pain).

The phase 1 WRX heads can limit flow around the 380bhp mark - they get 'surgey', due to the hydraulic lifters. But the v.3/4 phase 1.5 are much better - get to in and around 500bhp IIRC.

If you need to know everything head-based lol, PM merlin24. As his name suggests he's a wizard re. heads.

Yes v3/4 heads will fit fine, they are the same combustion volume as the phase 1 heads and everything will fit fine. you need 1.6mm gaskets
