Trade it for a WRX Tuning normally aspirated impreza's is a waste of money, you may as well save for one with a turbo.

dont bother mate, you wont make enough difference to make it worth it without spending alot of money.

keep it as is and get your no claims up and save for a turbo'd version, means you will get a better car in the long run

There really is no point on a normally aspirated Impreza engine because £ per bhp isn't worth it. You could add a panel, filter exhaust etc but you aren't going to notice it or feel the affects.

about the only thing you could do that would be slightly noticeable is underdrive pulleys but that will impact on your AC and electrics... just leave it as is, as you say your 22... invest in driver training and get the premiums down. By the time a WRX is affordable insurance wise you will be going way way up in BHP for virtually no money.
