hi everyone, i am about to get a 1998 sti type r version 5,
1)should the clock be in kilometers or miles ?,would of thought they come from japan in kilometers .because this one says 90000 and the bloke selling says it has really done 72000miles?
2)whats oil does it take?
3)what do i look out when buying?

Do you really know what you're buying? Judging by question 2 I feel you've not owned an impreza before.

If I was you i'd search for an impreza buying guide and do a LOT of reading 1st as your questions will end up with a huge amount of opinions and answers.

Speedo should be in mph if its been converted properly, but the mileage might be only partly in kilometers so check when it was done, if at all.

thanks for replies yea first time buying impreza so not sure what type of oil to put in it as cant find that info anywhere , this impreza was converted at 45000k apparently which converts to 27000miles, and done another 45000miles here so 72000miles does make sense as it says 90000 on clock ??,

lol joker im in dorking car is in bedfordshire , already put deposit down, just wanted to make sure everything is good before picking it up on thursday, where you based pal?
