Default Upgrade turbo help

Ok, iv got a standard 2003 wrx ppp. Had it 3 month, and i love it. But i want to up the power to around 320-340bhp.

What would be my best options?

Which turbo is safe on standard internals? As the car has quite high millage (104,000)

Also my maf conector seems to be knockin my car to hell, any1 ever had a problem with the conector plug that goes into the maf?

Thanks

Not sure on turbo but been said a few times that the sti tmic can handle up to 400bhp no problem. After that ideally go fmic

104 k miles i would not consider upping the power unless you have budget for engine rebuild, clutch, etc.

I would think to refreshing/uprating the suspension and brakes to make it faster in the real world

To answer the turbo query, if it were me, I'd defo plump for the SC36 Billet.

I would recommend either vf34, vf35, tdo5 16 or 18g. Also the Sti tmic would be a good upgrade over the standard wrx one.

Speak to Andy Forrest, he will tell you exactly what turbo will suit your car and your needs. Advised me to buy one he didn't even sell!

Check out my thread achievable 300 hp bugeye ,skip through the bull**** and be carefull who you listen to mate , I've gone td 05 and the usuall supporting mods and I'm probably gettin a good 300 (ditchmyster) will confirm ,(he reckons well over ) he's got a blob ppp and thinking of going the same route as for mileage don't worry about it , your engines either good or bad regardless of mileage , mines now on 140k and runs like a good un , and gets some stick on a regular basis ,

Tony
