Can someone clarify the following for me....am I right in saying that Impreza turbos in the UK have had the same air filter fitment since 1993?

The reason I ask is I've (stupidly) ordered a new k&n from a company on ebay and they've sent me the wrong one. They sent me an email back saying there all sorts of different fitments etc they need to know details about my car, blah blah blah.

same ones fitted to my classic sti also fit my 2005 blob sti, There are different ones for non turbo'd impreza's I think if memory serves.

 

I bought a Do-Luck one from eBay and it fit fine.. The auction stated: Impreza Turbo/WRX/STi models from 1993-2007.

Sounds like the seller just hasn't got a clue lol

 

Sorry to bump an old thread, but did the hawkeye sti have a differant sized filter to earlier bugeye wrx/sti ??

 

I hope the bug / blob eye filter fits the hawkeye cos that's what i have just bought, thinking they were the same?

 

all turbo's use the same style filter/air box fitment from Classic to Hawk..........

only the newer Hatch changed, with most non-turbo cars being different again

 

On the links to the k&n site in the original post, it says that the 33-2154 is for the 2003/2004 Sti and the 33-2232 or earlier cars. Have I read it wrong?

Ps. Either way the panel from a 2005 2.0 fits my 2002 buy wrx.
