Perfectly normal, much as we'd like we can't make the engine bay waterproof. As long as it is confined to the tray it won't cause much of an issue. Just make sure there aren't any wires or connections getting wet.

do you have bonnet vents? or possibly one of the connections on the water bottle pumps.

i have the blanking plates fitted so there are no holes in the bonnet. i do have mini scoops to fit, i bought them thinking it was a good idea for my new induction kit, i now know that the classic bonnet vents are just for show. im still going to fit the mini scoops but im going to keep the blanking plates on, bonnet stays nice and sealed then.
im guessing that the water is running down side of bonnet between with wing, the seal along side of bonnet seems fine though. we have had a load of ****e weather, was just wondering if anyone else gets water in same place.
