Default Which type of hose is better for boost control?

I've been looking to change my boost solenoid hoses since they're getting on a bit and I'm not sure which type to go for. I have no experience with either type.

Unreinforced, but cotton braided on the outside OR reinforced fuel hose with no braid? I'm looking for something that won't balloon under pressure.

Just some silicon 3mm or 4 mm been so long can't remember. Most auto factors have it. It's only vacuum.

Depending on what solenoid you have make sure you check for nipple in one of the pipes, can't remember what it proper name is.

Not going to be using a restrictor pill. I'm having the bottom port venting to atmosphere (it's a 3-port and the car is being mapped soon btw).

As already mentioned, most specialists use silicone hose at 3/4mm ID. I have it on mine (as supplied/fittefd by API) 2 years ago - no issues thus far with spllitting, or anything like that.
