Default Coolant questions

Hi Guys,

I changed my coolant with Subaru's pre-mixed coolant, and had some work done where the mechanic drained the coolant to carry the work out, and re-filled with his own (red) coolant.

I was going to buy the subaru coolant again to make sure its getting the stuff it should be, but its a little steep.

I'm wondering what most people with new age wrx's running 350bhp are using? Or what is recommended?

Cheers guys!

You can't mix types, but you are OK with different COLOURS andf BRANDS, so long as it's the same type.

If in doubt, ask a decent motor factor for an antifreeze suitable for an alloy engine and with anti-corrosion properties. Then drain and refill with that stuff.

Most is sold to dilute, dilute it 50/50.
