Default Severe juddering on liftoff

Hi,I have a 07 WRX (PPP) + Re-map. When I lift my foot off the accellerator (quickly) at 4500+ rpm the car judders/jerks. This happens in 1st, 2nd or 3rd and it seems to be getting worse over time. Below 4200 rpm nice gentle de-cellaration.Any ideas?Cheers

Had a look and the mounts appear fine, plus it doesn't jerk at 4200 rpm liftoff. Also found that it doesn't always do it, just most times.

Cheers

The dump valve is the original factory fitted item. Is it possible to test them ?

If it was the clutch why only when letting off the accelerator at 4500+ rpm. I don't touch the clutch.
I will check the clutch out. Second/third gear pull off etc.

thanks for the suggestions

Have you actually take the pitch stopper off and examined the condition of the rear/bulkhead rubber mount??

Large gaps in the fore/aft position could cause engine judder/movement.

Minimal gaps.........

I dont know how to test them mate, the reason I was asking is because when I had one fitted I was gettin the same symptoms as you. Didnt think a dump valve would do that but it did. Took it off abd reduced considerably, then had some whiteline gearbox bushes fitted and gear change is quite smooth, and when lifting off the throttle its not as jerky.

Does it do it when you release the clutch pedal or just backing off the throttle? Does it seem like the engine causing it or is it vibrating through the whole car? Could be clutch judder or rear diff mounts shot.

I can accelerate as hard as possible and no jerking. It is only when backing off the throttle above 4500 rpm, without touching the clutch.
