I bought a Tomei FPR from the for sale section he here on the basis that it was a genuine one as I know there a lot of fakes going about.

I tried fitting it today and the fuel is pouring out of every connection.

The kit didn't come with any gaskets but I've tried thread sealing tape, rubber o rings rubber gasket and nothing will seal it.

Has anybody one here fitted one or any suggestions how to seal it.

I Managed to get it sealed today with loads of thread lock, gas tape and rubber washers just hope it holds.

 

Not worth the risk of an engine bay fire bud. I wouldnt chance it.

 

it'll be fine, I'll be checking it everyday for the first couple of weeks just to make sure
