Default noisy fuel pump!!!

I have a 2000 UK turbo and the fuel pump has became noisy

Before I go out and buy a new one, can anyone tell me if this is ok or is it on It's way out?

I have an existing problem in another thread where if you feather the throttle it goes right up the revs with no problem but if you floor it I get a stutter or miss but only sometimes

I have now noticed that if say in second and at constant speed of about 20 or so it feels like I'm on and of the accelerator when I'm not? Could this all be due to the fuel pump?

Thanks for the help

Sorry for delay in replying.

It is an X reg 2000. The pump was completely quiet until about 2 weeks ago when it became noisy? The 20mph thing has not long started but the hesitation has been there since I got it in April?

I've not checked if the pump is std or not but the car has been remaped so I assume it has??

the hesitation sounds to me like the throttle pot sensor is on its way out,i had this on mine.
