Default Anyone know what this does?

Hi guys

Can anyone tell me what this valve type thing is in the pic below because it has a pipe connecting to the inlet manifold right by the throttle cable. I ask because i have just boughr a hole inlet manifold with tgv delete but the bit where the pipe connect to the inlet manifold is blanked off.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Cheers for your help guys. Now as my new manifold doesn't have the nipple on it to accept the pipe, then would I be able to T off from the hose to the right of it that comes out of the inlet?

Any suggestions on what I can do here?

Thanks

Why not just remove the plug in the new manifold and fit the nipple from your old manifold?

To save anything snapping, would it be ok to T off of the other pipe in the top right of the first pic?

Thanks
