Default mapper advise please

car is a 53 wrx with sti engine,box,ecu and top mount,with vf35 and open source map cars launch control launched at 5000rpm and 10psi,now with a gt30 hybrid car launches at 5500rpm and only 4psi boost,what can be done to get more boost at launch.would raising launch rev limit to 6000 improve things.thanks alot guys.

Just get your mapper to pull the timing back a few deg for launch, hold foot down hard for a good second, you should get 1 BAR of boost for launch, don't need to go much higher than 5500

ye cheers mate,mapper is not in my area for a while yet,was hopin to get it done for this weekend but thinkin ill just have to wait.the mappers that iv contacted are fully booked up this end,for all that needs doin would only take 10 mins but hey ther you go. busy busy .
