Default Light weight pulleys

Jist installed some light weights pulleys. Just thought id ask, do they get hot as never noticed if they do or not. Just popped bonnet to check nuts were still tight and found they were hot. I'm guessing normal

Friction from the belt means they are bound to heat up a bit.

There's a few, you have CDF racing, RCM, lateral. Scoobyworld, many more just can't think.

I got lucky on eBay. As a set is about 180 ish.

Yes, they get hot, they are in contact with various engine parts and friction as Alan says.

Mine were £120, underdriven.

Can i ask please, what difference have you noticed after fitting these, do they help with the revs coming down quicker? as i find my td04 tends to creep a lot before it drops which is very anoying..

I've only the main crank pulley changed and havent noticed any difference at all to be honest. was changed because the o/e one fell into two bits

As above: my OE crank pulley was coming to bits and I got offered a set for decent money.
