WRX or STI....
....cams?. My 94 WRX have L2IN - L2EX etc. For a while now i've been trying to source some V3 Sti heads but the cams seem to have L4IN L4EX etc.
Is the L not specifically a WRX cam? Does anyone actually have lobe measurements for the V3 STI "wilder" cams?
Thanks

The L is reference to which side of the engine they are fitted to, the other 2 cams will have R stamped on them

Ive just measured a V3 STI head (small under bucket shims) the inlet cam lift is 8.60mm and the exhaust 8.25mm, hope that helps?

Ive been away for a while, but £400 for fit V3 STI complete heads seems like a bargain to me.

Thanks J, obviously my WRX one's are R2IN etc.
I just wanted to find out if the coding on the cam's differ from WRX to STI.

Lovely thanks! Is that a measurement from the cam body to the top of the lobe?

If you have a vernier gauge measure the width at the narrowest then the widest section of the cam lobe, the difference is the amount of lift.
