When fitting a 3 port to replace a 2 port on a bugeye, do you have to re solder the solenoid wiring plug ? All the 3 ports i have seen have a different wiring socket, eg round as opposed to the blue rectangle 2 port one.

 

Since the car needs re-mapping at the time......... just get the mapper to fit it, 10 minute job and you know it's sorted
