Depends on the size of the nuts and bolts used?

You will need more than a ratchet. You need a half decent tool kit, sockets, spanners, extension bars, screw drivers, a jack and some axle stands.
You ideally need to soak all the nuts and bolts you want to remove with gt85 or another good penetrating oil.

Have fun.

In addition to the above get some replacement nuts/bolts/washers that way if you get a stubborn bolt that snaps or you need to cut off - no big deal

It's not that bad a job , even if you snap a bolt or 2 when removing your std system as you can buy new ones quite cheaply from an exhaust centre. The 2 bolts connecting the centre section to the downpipe are normally 16mm & have a couple of springs to allow for a bit of movement. The centre to backbox is normally 2 x 14mm nuts/bolt. You just need. To spray some wd40 on the 3 rubbers to aid you sliding them off.

Are the springs a must have or can I throw and replace with no springs?
