Default Turbo Elbow too short

Just looking at putting a 2005 STI intercooler on a 2006 WRX. I've heard there might be an issue with the brackets and /or the rubber turbo hose elbow on the ypipe being about an inch too short. I believe it's because the turbo on the sti has a longer output pipe??
Cheers,
Andy

Brackets will be fine as the mounting points already exist within the WRX, just take off the brackets and move them to the outer mounting points.
For hoses, when I did mine I bought a Samco set of turbo pipes and used this on the alloy Y piece with no problems, actually thinking about this I think I trimmed a little off the Samco's but found that this was not needed.
Can't quite remember as it was so long ago!
