Default Lateral headers .. Bungs gone!??

Hi,

Took my car to be mapped yesterday by simon (JGM) done a fantastic job i must say! came out at 342 Bhp on a Sc36. The only issue aside a boost pipe popping off is its struggling to hold boost.

Well i was driving home today and gave it a some beans and the bung from the headers where the sensor goes decided to pop out at some force by the sounds of it, didnt sound to good but i am glad it was just that!

So if the bolt was loose could this be the cause of the boost dropping off and does anyone know what size the thread is so i can either buy or make up another one??

Many thanks!

Call Simon, and don't listen to anybody else!
Only your mapper can advise.

if the bung was loose it will have been loosing zorst gas which would of made it boost up slower, now the bung is fitted it will be producing boost quicker which will need to be tweaked in your map, im sure all will agree, call simon for a tweak and stay off boost until its done mate.

Would a loose bung be the cause of not holding boost as well?
