oil cooler with 15bar of pressure!!!

Default oil cooler with 15bar of pressure!!!

hi wander if any one can help, fitted an oil cooler to my wrx, its fitted in between the intercooler and radiator, also fitted an relocation on the oil filter because the pipes wouldnt go with just the sandwich plate.
the system runs from the engine to filter to cooler an back to engine. now the oil pressure is 15 bar an flashing!!!
any help please

That stupidly high. I would expect 8 bar cold. There is either something wrong with your pressure measurement or your oil system

its been 7 bar cold, and drops to about 2 bar hot, i fitted it on sunday and it been fine till last night. surely 15 bar would explode the engine surely?? i'm thinking dodgey pressure sensor, just want to cover all bases just incase

maybe try removing it and checking again to see what reading you get

or get oil pressure tester onto it?

removed the sensor the was no pressure behind it at all, diconected the wire from it an gauge reads 2.5 bar soon as put the wire back on it goes straight to 15bar, so sensor is goosed! only problem is now my oil is way to full because i think when i removed the sensor its let air in an oil cooler has emptied into the enigne now, do i need to bleed it again or just disconnect the crank sensor an turn her over a few times??
the oil is 4 times higher than the full mark??!? but wehen i fitted the cooler an filled with oil its been bang on the full
