hi all ive had a bit of what i thinks a bargin tonight ,

I got a call at 10pm from a mate telling me his desprate for cash i can have his impreza for £500 bargin! , Its moted and taxed for 6 months and has been dropped 40mm nice aftermarket alloys and a hks exhast system

now my problem is the car is in what i beleave to be limp mode ? whont rev past 4500rpm and engine lights on and will not boost around the same time this happend he has fitted a hks all singing and danceing boost controller i beleave this may be the problem ? .

to plum the old unit in im desprate to know where the small boost pipe off the actuator should go and also the small pip being the middle of 3 on the very top of the inlet ? many thanks

also the speedo is not working?

As posted on general technical, speedo not working causes the 4500 rpm limit. Fix the speedo and that is one problem fixed!

ive had a few scoobies the only reason or should i say the real reason is that at some point the speedo has been un plugged for what ever reason, people get this problem think crap the engine is shot.......no no no, its a easy fix,on the right hand side of the gearbox is a speedo drive replace job done, trust me ive has this with a few subaru's
