Default Upgrade advice :-)

Hi all, been a scooby owner for over 2 years now and looking at upgrading the power.... Im currently running around in a 03 Blob STI with PPP so I think im right in saying it should already be around the 300bhp mark? (cars done just over 80K miles).
From reading plenty of stuff on here I think it would be safe / reliable enough to cope with around 350/360ish without messing about with forging the internals, again hope that sounds right to everyone? What I want to know is what parts and services would everyone recommend to get to that sort of figure?? and what should I expect to pay???

my other questions are,

Will I need a better fuel pump?? or will the PPP pump be ok??

Is it worth investing in a new turbo?? If so which one??

Is it worth totally de-catting the car or continue with the PPP down pipe??

What ecu??? Simtek...ect...ect.. or just re-map the standard ECU??

I dont want mega power and would not be chasing silly BHP figures in the future.

Any advice would be great

Cheers

Matt

The ppp fuel pump is upto the job, however they do go off over time so it is therefore worth considering a new pump to ensure all is good.

Remap of standard ecu or simtek or syvecs depends on your budget and exactly what you want from the car infuture etc.

They usually make 330 to 350bhp depending on exhaust mods (decat, sportscat etc). The ppp sports car in the downpipe is fairly good.

Cheers for the advice Simon, do you think I would be far off the 350bhp mark, with a 3" cat back exhaust (down pipe in this case), my HKS panel filter and Simtek mapped by yourself??? Whats the price difference between the Simtek and Standard ECU re map??? sorry for the 100 questions :-)
